Wedding at Cathedral of Christ the King, Buckhead

Hey there, friends! πŸ“Έβœ¨ I’m so excited to share the incredible wedding journey of Erin and Hampton, a gorgeous couple who recently tied the knot in a stunning celebration of love and creativity. I’m so excited to share a glimpse into their magical day at Cathedral of Christ the King, Buckhead in Atlanta.

Erin, a talented designer, poured her heart and soul into every detail of their wedding, from hand-sketching to digitizing, creating a one-of-a-kind masterpiece. And let me tell you, the results were absolutely breathtaking! The bridesmaids’ dresses, the decor – everything was a testament to Erin’s artistic genius at this Wedding at Cathedral of Christ the King.

Cathedral of Christ the King, Buckhead

Now, let’s talk about the venue – Cathedral of Christ the King in Buckhead. (This is where I photographed one of my very first weddings, EVER!) An absolute favorite for us, the challenge of working around their time constraints sparks our creativity. The Catholic ceremony was a beautiful start to Erin and Hampton’s journey, surrounded by the timeless elegance of the cathedral.

Wedding Reception at Burger Plantation

The reception took us on a short drive to Burge Plantation, a historic country house that set the stage for a perfect summer celebration. Erin’s design prowess shone through, transforming the white tent into a dreamlike space. The gardens provided a picturesque backdrop, and every element seamlessly flowed together.

Oh, and the live band at the reception? Simply awesome! We danced the night away, and witnessing Erin’s grandparents tear up the dance floor was a true highlight.

Grand Exit

Now, let’s talk about the grand finale – the sparkler exit. In the pitch-black country setting, it presented a challenge, but everyone pulled it off with style. The sparklers lit the way to a horse and carriage, adding a touch of magic to the end of an unforgettable day, which I’ll always remember as the most beautiful DIY wedding at Cathedral of Christ the King.

It was a joy capturing the essence of Erin and Hampton’s love story, and I hope these snippets give you a taste of the magic that unfolded. 🌟 Stay tuned for more incredible moments and, of course, a shoutout to the amazing Mrs. Francoise who lent her talents to the masterpiece of the bridesmaid dresses. Until next time, keep spreading the love! πŸ’–
